Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

In the spring of 2021, I visited scenic Lake Travis. As I strolled along the shores, I was delighted to encounter the vibrant bluebonnet bloom by the lake. The rugged cliffs provided a contrast to the serene waters of Lake Travis, and fluffy clouds lazily drifted in the sky, adding to the picturesque scene.
I found a peaceful spot at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis, where I could sit and bask in the simple joys of life while surrounded by the beauty of the spring bloom. watercolor batik by Hailey E. Herrera.
